Color is incredibly important to us. We hand-select swatches for versatility and compatibility and offer a high level of color customization, down to the thread, so your interior space has the perfect tone. If desired, our hue-matching can align Pantone color across finishes to create seamless products with depth and cohesion.
Felt
Primary Finish Material
Our Polyester Acoustic Panel (PET) felt is SCS and OEKO-TEX® certified. LINEAR and BLOCK use 9 MM (3/8 IN) felt. CYLINDER, OBFORMA, LAYER, TRI, and QUAD use 1.5 MM (1/16 IN) felt. Engineered for high-performance, our felt won't pill or shed and doesn't require cleaning or sealing. Extended exposure to direct sunlight may cause color to fade. Products in 9 MM felt may apply Surface Styles.
Piping
Accent Finish
Our piping, composed of a high-quality woven fiber, comes in a variety of colors and can be added as an accent to bottom of CYLINDER, OBFORMA, TRI or QUAD pendants. Piping emphasizes the sewn construction unique to Sabin products and allows for added customization to bring your project to the next level.
Cord
UL-Certified Sjt Cord
Our piping, composed of a high-quality woven fiber, comes in a variety of colors and can be added as an accent to bottom of CYLINDER, OBFORMA, TRI or QUAD pendants. Cable
Aircraft Cable
Our Aircraft Cable is the primary suspension for our systems. The low-profile black cable disappears on exposed ceilings, creating a floating effect with black grippers to match. The cable is 1/16 IN in diameter and constructed of 7x7 fused galvanized wire (7 strands and 7 wires per strand). Fused cable reduces fraying. We offer a standard 60 IN length as well as custom 24 - 120 IN lengths as specified.
Strap
Webbing for Suspension
Our fabric straps offer a softer alternative to aircraft cables for suspension. They measure 3/4 IN wide and 2/16 IN thick. Lengths are customized to specifications. Constructed of recyclable polyester, our straps use the same fibers as the trim so colors match exactly. Please note, not all trim colors are available as straps.
Thread
Recycled PET Fiber
Thread is the backbone of our products. All Sabin products are sewn with manually operated straight stitch machines, using durable, flexible PET thread sourced from Germany. Our signature sewn construction allows us to create fixtures without the need for a metal body, challenging industry standards and reducing environmental impact.
